The Pheasant allows dogs at their outdoor tables, which are first-come, first-served. The menu uses local ingredients and is one of the few scratch kitchens in the area.
“Well behaved babies and four-legged fur babies welcome!” says their website. Which is true, no one wants to eat next to a jerk dog. So if your dog can’t keep it together with some class then stick with Dairy Queen takeout instead.

The sesuit harbor cafe in dennis has a great outdoor seating area that allows dogs at picnic tables overlooking the waterfront. Plus if the tide is low there’s a short beach walk you can take after your meal alongside the dining area.
the parking lot is a bit confusing as it is shared with a marina and can be extremely busy in the summer season at peak times.
but it’s worth the madness for the sesuit harbor cafe’s food. Exceptionally crispy fried seafood on often-sticky tables in a great outdoor setting overlooking the water.

Dennis, MA is a seaside resort town with beaches on both the northern Cape Cod Bay coastline and along the southern Nantucket Sound.
